At PATAGONIA PONCHO, we want your stay to be much more than a trip — we aim to offer you an unforgettable, authentic experience deeply connected to nature.

Our lodge, located in a privileged corner of Patagonia, is the starting point for truly unique adventures. We offer a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, horseback riding, and explorations around the ranch — perfect for those looking to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and peaceful atmosphere.

But without a doubt, the heart of Patagonia Poncho lies in our signature experiences: free-range red deer hunting and fly fishing in crystal-clear rivers. These are activities that awaken the senses, demand presence and dedication, and connect you with nature in a profound and genuine way.

At Patagonia Poncho, you’re not just a visitor — you’re part of Patagonia.

In the wild heart of Northern Patagonia, the mountain range of Neuquén offers a raw and untamed hunting experience.
Here, red stags roam free across endless valleys, dense forests, and rugged hillsides—no fences, no boundaries, no second chances. This is not a staged hunt. It’s the real thing.

From March to May, the rut begins. But between mid-March and mid-April, Patagonia roars. The echo of powerful stags breaks the silence at dawn and dusk, calling hunters into a primal game of strategy and endurance. You’ll walk miles. You’ll climb. You’ll feel the burn in your legs and the wind on your face. And when the moment comes, it’s just you, the beast, and the shot.

This land demands effort—and rewards it with unforgettable encounters.

Local guides, born and raised in this terrain, know every ridge, every shadow, every trail worn by the animals. Their instinct and experience are your best weapons in this ever-changing wilderness. They won’t just lead you—they’ll challenge you to go further.

This is Patagonia.
This is hunting as it was meant to be.
Wild. Harsh. True.

Jochen,

I had the once in a life time opportunity to hunt with my familiy not with guides, but with friends. Manu and his brothers are the best hunters I experienced in several countries hunting red stags. Their patience, their eyes like eagles, were the base to see a lot of great and old red stags. Supported by the lovely family of Camila we had such a great time. And once in a lifetime will become a second time in two years. Then I will be back again in the canyon of emotions. Waidmannsheil from Germany.
